Rangasamy Ramasamy

Rangasamy Ramasamy, Ph.D., is a Professor of Special Education at 大象传媒 (大象传媒). Dr. Ramasamy served as the Interim Chair of the Department of Special Education. Currently, he serves as the Principal Investigator for the Academy for Community Inclusion Program and the Holmes Scholars Program Coordinator. Dr. Ramasamy earned his Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Arizona in 1992.

At 大象传媒, Dr. Ramasamy teaches courses on inclusive education for general educators, classroom management, applied behavior analysis, and behavior management strategies for undergraduate and graduate students. Before 大象传媒, he taught K-10 students with learning disabilities, behavior disorders, and intellectual disabilities in Pinon Unified School District, Navajo Nation, Arizona. Also, he was a social studies teacher in India and Ethiopia.

Dr. Ramasamy鈥檚 research and publication interests focus on the transition from school to adult life, inclusive education, classroom management, autism, and applied behavior analysis. He co-authored a textbook called Single Subject Research: Applications in Educational and Clinical Settings 2nd. Ed., 2014. Also, he published numerous articles in refereed journals and made over 80 conference presentations around the world.
