Pi Sigma Alpha, the , is the only honor society for college students interested in political science. Only a select group of 大象传媒 students are invited to join Pi Sigma Alpha. This invitation is extended only to advance undergraduate and graduate students with superior academic achievement in all coursework and particularly in political science courses..
Pi Sigma was founded in 1920 and has grown to over 500 university and college chapters. 大象传媒鈥檚 chapter, Eta Delta, has existed for over forty-five years and has inducted over 1,000 members since its inception. Pi Sigma Alpha seeks to promote excellence in the study of political science through a variety of programs.听
The requirements for membership for undergraduate students includes the following:
1. Completion of at least sixty credits hours in any courses.
2. Completion of ten credit hours in political science including at least one 3000-level course. You do not need to be a political science major.
3. All political science courses must have a grade no lower than a 鈥淏.鈥
The requirements for membership for graduate students includes the following:
1. Completion of at least nine graduate credits in political science with a grade no lower than a "B."
