Dr. Morgan Cooley, associate professor in the Sandler School of Social Work, and Dr. Christine Spadola, assistant professor in the Sandler School, were selected as Scholars of the Year for Scholarly and Creative Activities at the Associate Professor and Assistant Professor levels, respectively. Both honors will be presented at the annual Honors Convocation on April 13.

“I believe this is the first time our college and our school have had two scholar awardees in the same year at two different levels,” said Dr. Heather Thompson, director of the Sandler School. “Drs. Cooley and Spadola are both so well-deserving and join a long legacy of Criminal Justice and Social Work professors receiving this type of recognition.”
