Join the Weppner Center for LEAD and Service-Learning for our Spring Owl Breaks!
Owl Breaks is a way for students to give up a part of their spring break to give back to the community. Owl Breaks is an opportunity to engage with local non-profits and give your time back to those in need.
This semester we have three opportunities:
- Thursday, March 6: Feeding South Florida (8:30 AM to 11:30 AM) and Adopt-A-Family (3 PM to 5 PM)
- March 6 and 7: Habitat for Humanity in Lake Worth (7:15 AM to 11 AM)
- Friday, March 7: Feeding South Florida 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
All breaks will provide food and transportation if needed.

9th Annual 3 Minute Thesis Competition

Florida Atlantic Graduate College will host the University's 9th Annual Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT®)Ìýlive, in-personÌýat the Boca Raton Campus Student Union this Spring 2025! The 3MT® competition challenges graduate students around the world to pitch their research in only 3 minutes to a live audience. Developed by the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2008, 3MT® competitions are now held in over 900 universities across more than 85 countries worldwide. At Florida Atlantic's annual competition, over $15,000 in scholarship prizes are awarded annually to winners from both the Preliminary Rounds and the Championship. Distinguished Florida Atlantic community members serve as judges, and a public vote determines the People's Choice winners. Florida Atlantic’s 3MT® Championship Award is generously sponsored through the Dr. Eric H. Shaw 3MT® Championship Award Endowment Fund.
Preliminary Rounds: Monday, March 10 - 10 am-Noon, 2 -4 pm / Tuesday, March 11 – 10 am-Noon, 2 - 4 pm

´óÏó´«Ã½ Gutterman Family Center presents: Letters From Anne and Martin
Join us for a captivating event featuring excerpts from Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl and Dr. King’s Letter from a Birmingham Jail. In Letters from Anne and Martin, the cultural icons Anne Frank and Martin Luther King, Jr. come to life on stage, sharing their visions for a peaceful and united world. Despite facing adversity and hatred, both born in 1929, they express profound faith in humanity through their distinct and powerful voices. The evening showcases the similarities in their perspectives, underscoring the universal nature of the human journey. Dessert reception following performance.

2025 Student Publication Ceremony
Submission deadline: March 12, 2025
The Student Publication Ceremony will showcase the different kinds of written work that ´óÏó´«Ã½ students have published in Summer 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025. Undergraduate and Graduate students are welcome to participate. The work that you submit can be scholarly/academic, professional, or creative, and you can make more than one submission.

Supporting Women's Leadership Within Your Life
In honoring Women's History Month, Women's Leadership Institute is for members of the Florida Atlantic community seeking to improve their leadership competencies through professional develop.m.ent series focused on confidence-building, skill enhancement, and networking. Attendees can expect peer-to-peer and group discussions, dynamic topical workshops, and professional guidance so they can be successful leaders in any space!

Flip the Script is a sexual assault resistance program for women. This Owls Care retreat focuses on empowering women and teaching them resistance strategies. Students receive meal vouchers, giveaways, and snacks.
A Call to Student Artists for the 2025 CAPS Healing Arts Exhibit

Hello! We are preparing for our annual Spring Healing Arts Exhibit, and we are hoping to include your art pieces. For context, the Healing Arts Exhibit is an annual exhibition that features the artwork of ´óÏó´«Ã½ students with the intention of highlighting the healing power of art, increasing visibility of CAPS, reducing stigma of mental health services, and promoting connection. We are now inviting Florida Atlantic students to submit art pieces in line with this year's theme, "Glow Up." For more information, please use the link below.
