At the 2023 Annual Conference for the National Hartford Center for Gerontological Nursing Excellence, John L. Renne, PhD, AICP presented a plenary talk on “Disasters, Older Adults, Vulnerable Populations, and Resilience.” The online conference demonstrated the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration to address disaster preparedness and response given the increasing threats related to climate change.
