The Commencement Office听
Graduation and Commencement听are two听separate functions听and have听separate processes and deadlines.
The Commencement Office is here to assist you with navigating both. The Commencement Office is also available to assist you with ordering听听after you graduate.听
You听must听 apply to graduate听 in order to receive your degree and diploma; however, it is not required that you attend the Commencement Ceremony in order for you to receive your degree.
If you are graduating and want to attend the Commencement Ceremony and receive guest听tickets, please be mindful of the Application for Degree and RSVP deadline dates.

听Graduation Eligibility and Requirements听
The听graduation process听begins when you complete your听 Application for Degree 听and submit it to your academic advisor. Please听refer to the听Academic Calendar听for submission and deadline dates for each semester.听

Undergraduate Students听should run a听degree audit report听(DARS)听to see if they have met their degree requirements. You can review the听University requirements听here.
- Graduate Students听should review their Graduate Plan Of Study and the听University requirements听here.听
Applications for Degree should be submitted to your advising office no later than the deadline date of听your final semester.听
