Faculty who complete all four micro credentials (one of which must be Designing Learner-Centered Courses)听 will earn a nationally recognized Certificate in Effective College Instruction, the only college teaching credential endorsed by the American Council on Education (ACE).听听听
This听course prepares educators to use research-based practices shown to help students succeed.
The program addresses the essential pedagogical skills and knowledge in the following five main areas of study:

- Establishing a Productive Learning Environment
- Using Active Learning Strategies
- Promoting Higher Order Thinking
