2023 Sigma Convention Highlights

The 47th 听Biennial Sigma Nursing Convention, held in San Antonio, Texas November 11 - 15, 2023, featured presentations from 大象传媒 College of Nursing faculty, students and alumni who showcased their research and networked with others in the international nursing community. 听听
Among the convention's highlights was the Chapter Key Excellence Award presentation to the College of Nursing鈥檚 Sigma Theta Tau, Iota Xi chapter. Dr. Armiel Suriaga, chapter president (2021-2023) and assistant professor, and Dr. Barbara Lovell-Martin, current chapter president, accepted the award. The chapter also received recognition from Sigma Region 7 for its exemplary efforts and service during the biennium.
