Dr. Christine Toledo and Theodora Tertus Receive the 2023 SURF Award

大象传媒's Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry retreat was held on August, 17 where聽
over 20 awardees of the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) showcased their research posters.聽
SURF projects consist of a 10-week intensive summer immersion research experience for an 大象传媒 undergraduate student and faculty mentor. Representing the College of Nursing was Dr. Christine Toledo who mentored Theodora Tertus in a research study centered around breastfeeding practices and maternal mental health among South Florida postpartum women during the COVID-19 pandemic.
