Delray Medical Center

For more than 35 years, (DMC), has served the communities of South Palm Beach County. As both a community hospital and Level I Trauma Center located on a 42-acre medical plaza, DMC has the ability to offer several specialized services including cardiac care, a comprehensive stroke center, neurosciences, emergency care, oncology, a wound treatment center, and more. Also located here are Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital and Fair Oaks Behavioral Health Services.

DMC has over 530 beds; 18,000 admissions; 79,000 outpatient visits; and 42,000 ED visits per year. Five separate Intensive Care Units support care of the surgery, trauma, medical, neurosurgical, and cardiac/medical patients. To continually meet the needs of the growing local community, DMC recently expanded by adding a new patient tower, which includes 96 private patient rooms, a comprehensive cardiovascular clinic including cardiac rehabilitation, an expanded laboratory, and the latest imaging technology.

In partnership with ´óÏó´«Ã½, DMC is one of the host sites for medical students; internal medicine, psychiatry, and surgery residents; and cardiovascular fellows.

Trustbridge

Since 1978, Hospice of Palm Beach County and Hospice by the Sea have defined compassionate, not-for-profit hospice care, serving nearly 200,000 families in the Palm Beach and Broward counties. In 2014, was created to combine these two innovative organizations and their affiliates.

Serving an average of 1,900 patients daily, Trustbridge’s hospice programs go above and beyond what Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance provide under the normal hospice benefit, such as palliative surgery, clinical massage therapy, music therapy, and an extensive grief support program. Through an interdisciplinary approach to care and an open access philosophy, the hospice care group works with each patient’s primary physician to enhance the end-of-life experience. Every case is managed by a registered nurse, who is assisted by certified nursing assistants, social workers, spiritual care counselors, music therapists, bereavement counselors, and volunteers.

Charles Levitetz Advanced Symptom and Support Individualized Care (CLASSIC) Program

The Charles Levitetz Advanced Symptom and Support Individualized Care Program offers an extra layer of support for patients undergoing treatment at the Christine E. . As one of the area’s only outpatient palliative care programs, CLASSIC provides compassionate and comprehensive cancer care by focusing on the whole patient.

Center for Hematology-Oncology

The Center for Hematology-Oncology (CHO) is part of the Eugene M. & Christine E. of Boca Raton Regional Hospital.Ìý The Lynn Cancer Institute is one of the largest cancer centers in South Florida and is accredited as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the American College of Surgeons.Ìý It treats an estimated 4,000 newly diagnosed cancer patients each year at its various facilities including the Center for Hematology-Oncology with sites in Boca Raton and Delray Beach.

The Lynn Cancer Institute - CHO offers a multimodal treatment approach and advanced technology as well as a and an array of including cancer support groups and wellness programs, nutrition services, psychosocial services, and financial counselors.

Radiation Oncology

is part of the Eugene M. & Christine E. of Boca Raton Regional Hospital (see above). Patients receive at locations in Boca Raton and Delray Beach using designed to deliver the most effective treatment while maximizing quality of life.

Pediatric Oncology Support Team

The (POST) gives free, family-centered support to children with cancer and their families living in six counties in Southeast Florida including Palm Beach County. The majority of the children receive treatment at three area hospitals including St. Mary’s Medical Center, which is one of the consortium hospitals partnering with ´óÏó´«Ã½ in educating residents and fellows. POST services include individual & family counseling, support groups, sibling support, medical play & procedural support, wish referral and coordination, and survivorship support. POST also supports families in school advocacy, financial assistance, and giving healing social events and outings, end-of-life support, and bereavement services.

Louis and Anne Green Memory & Wellness Center of the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at ´óÏó´«Ã½

The Louis and Anne Green of the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at ´óÏó´«Ã½ offers a range of services to adults with memory disorders and their families. Its clinicians perform more than 450 full evaluations (consisting of 3 visits each) and 200 free memory evaluations per year. They also assist with self-preservation activities for caregivers and conduct caregiver support groups including bereavement groups. The center includes an adult day center that is the first named Alzheimer’s Disease Special Services by AHCA.

Harbour’s Edge and Abbey Delray South

Harbour’s Edge and are Continuing Care Retirement Communities and Lifespace Communities located in Delray Beach.Ìý These communities allow older adults to seamlessly transition though a variety of care settings including long-term care. They also have post-acute rehabilitation services open to residents and non-residents alike.

The Marcus Institute of Integrative Health at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Medicine

combines eastern and western approaches to provide holistic, compassionate care to patients. Care includes acupuncture, mind-body-practices, and osteopathic manipulative medicine and treatment.
