Alternative Spring Breaks
Alternative Spring Break takes place during every academic Spring Break week, in which you听will have the opportunity to give back to your community. This program provides a deeper听understanding of issues that affect different communities in and out of South Florida.听Global citizenship provides the opportunity to experience this life-changing journey with 听your teammates through reflection and community building, which makes this experience a听memory to stay fresh for years to come.

Certified Student Leader
The Certified Student Leader program is a co-curricular certification available to students at听the 大象传媒 interested in enhancing their leadership knowledge,听application, and skills through a variety of leadership opportunities.
These opportunities may be tailored to students own interests, many of which are offered听over the course of the academic year. This program must be completed in one academic听year. Students can start the certificate program at the beginning of every semester (during听the first six weeks). This is an ideal opportunity for students to learn about leadership while听allowing for the flexibility to accommodate their busy lives and schedules.
Students who complete the program and are in good academic standing will receive a听Certificate and will have the certification noted on their co-curricular transcript.

Day of Service Events
Day of Service events occurs throughout the academic year focusing on a campus partner听organization. With Owls working hand in hand with the partner organization through听reflection and service, this day of service turns into a opportunity to give back to the 大象传媒听community.

Reading Circles
Leadership Reading Circles provides the opportunity for students to immerse with Faculty to听discuss leadership topics and experiences, in an intimate setting. Through books hand听picken by the Davie faculty, Students have the opportunities to learn through text how to听apply their learnings to their life in and out of 大象传媒.

Roadmap to Success
Roadmaps to Success is a one-day conference on 大象传媒鈥檚 Davie Campus in which 大象传媒 students will learn the skills and techniques needed to succeed in college and their future careers. We will have guest speakers closing and opening the event by sharing their respective journeys towards success with our students while your fellow 大象传媒 Faculty and Staff will be hosting breakout sessions that cover different sessions.
