There are four (4) types of membership on the graduate faculty:听 Graduate Faculty, Associate Graduate Faculty, Graduate Lecturer, and Graduate Faculty Emeritus. Detailed information about the rights and privileges granted to members of the Graduate Faculty can be found in the Graduate Faculty Governance documents listed below:

- Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters (adopted Graduate College Governance Document as their college governance document on October 13, 2010)
