The Max Planck Society, Germany’s most successful research organization, has 83 institutes worldwide. The only institute in North America — Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience— is housed on the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Jupiter campus. Their interdisciplinary research areas provide many opportunities for their scientists to work with universities and other research organizations. The growing bioscience communityÌýaround the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Jupiter campus provides unique research opportunities from faculty at the forefront of neuroscience research.

The Scripps Research Institute has an international reputation for pioneering research programs to help meet current and emerging biomedical needs. Scripps Research views its Florida campus as an opportunity to expand the scope of its science, to recruit new world-class scientists, and to further establish itself as an international organization for scientific and philanthropic purposes. Developing a vibrant biotechnology industry is an important part of Florida's continuing efforts to create a diverse, knowledge-based economy, and Scripps Florida has been critical in helping to attract other research, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical companies to the area.

For two decades, ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s Center for Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (CMBB) has linked ´óÏó´«Ã½ with other institutions and industries in the field by coordinating research and training programs in molecular biology and biotechnology. The CMBB continues to grow, keeping ´óÏó´«Ã½ competitive in the biological sciences and preparing versatile graduates for careers in medicine, basic research or industry. The mission of the CMBB is to develop research and training programs in molecular biology and biotechnology to train students for real-world jobs and connect science with industry.

The Brain Institute supports research, education and community outreach, with efforts spanning all of the ´óÏó´«Ã½ campuses. The Brain Institute administrative home is on the ´óÏó´«Ã½ MacArthur campus in Jupiter, Florida. The Brain Institute supports state-of-the-art research and innovative educational activities of more than 100 neuroscience faculty-level investigators located at ´óÏó´«Ã½ and affiliate research centers, and is the sponsor for the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Neuroscience Student Organization.

Wilkes Honors College isÌýa top-tier, residential, free-standing, honors college with a four-year, all-honors curriculum and its own faculty. ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s Wilkes Honors College combines academic rigor and practical experiences, including interdisciplinary study, experiential learning,Ìýand unparalleled access to research internships at world-renowned scientific research institutes.
