YWCA-STEM Day for Girls

The COECS hosted the YWCA for their STEM Day for Girls. There were approximately 75 attendees (girls ages 12-18). The day included a STEM activity provided by Verizon (another sponsor) and a "Fireside Chat," which included Dr. Nancy Romance and a College of Engineering and Computer Science student. They spoke to the girls about choosing careers in STEM.
