The ´óÏó´«Ã½ University Safety Committee was re-established in 2020 with a new charter.

Vision Statement

The ´óÏó´«Ã½ University Safety Committee strives to create a campus culture where members of the ´óÏó´«Ã½ community care for the wellbeing of one another and where people feel safe to work, learn, and grow.

Mission Statement

The ´óÏó´«Ã½ University Safety Committee will champion the development of a strong safety culture at ´óÏó´«Ã½ through:

• Forging relationships within the ´óÏó´«Ã½ community
• Developing initiatives that are meaningful to staff, faculty, and students
• Engaging the ´óÏó´«Ã½ community in solutions to challenges
• Creating sustainable change
• Eliminating impediments to improvements, where possible
