The creative economy is vital to South Florida and this program targets the specific needs of creative entrepreneurs in their journey to grow their businesses. Business planning, tax and legal considerations, marketing, branding, pricing, grant writing and raising capital are covered with special attention on the needs of creatives.

Rafael Cruz and George Gadson, of the SBDC at 大象传媒, are founding faculty of the program. This marked the 16th year of this enduring economic development partnership between the SBDC at 大象传媒 and the Broward County Cultural Division. During that time, over 900 artists have successfully graduated the program.
