Juliana Ruiz Mar铆n is a journalist from the University of Antioquia, member and coordinator of the 鈥淐olombian Soccer and Feminist,鈥 director of the documentary 鈥淪in Nosotras Nunca M谩s: Hinchadas Feministas de Colombia,鈥 and winner of the No Es Hora de Callar award for women journalists in Colombia 2022 given by the EL TIEMPO Editorial House and UN Women.听
She is also co-founder and co-director of 鈥淗istoricas: Mujeres en el Deporte,鈥 a medium that seeks to make visible the female athletes who have made history. Marin is editor for 鈥淗atTrick,鈥 a media outlet that specializes in women鈥檚 soccer in Colombia, where she has covered sporting events such as the Colombian Women鈥檚 League, the Copa Libertadores Femenina and the Women鈥檚 Under 20 World Cup. Finally, Marin is content director of Divisi贸n Avanza, a women鈥檚 soccer tournament that seeks to dignify the working conditions of women in soccer, and content director of Transform谩ndoNOS, a project that seeks to achieve gender equality in sport.
