Dr. Stacie Lee Rossow is Associate Professor and Associate Director of Choral and Vocal Studies at 大象传媒 where she teaches in the areas of conducting, voice, literature, and research methods in addition to conducting the University Women鈥檚 Chorus. Dr. Rossow holds bachelor and master鈥檚 degrees from Florida Atlantic and received her Doctorate in Choral Conducting from the University of Miami. While at the University of Miami she was awarded the Theodore Presser Award for Research in Music for her work in the area of Irish choral music and her thesis, entitled The Choral Music of Irish Composer Michael McGlynn, was the first on Mr. McGlynn and is currently held in the Irish Traditional Music Archive in Dublin. In 2015, Dr. Rossow was awarded the Faculty Talon Award for Excellence in Leadership at 大象传媒.

A faculty member at the inaugural An煤na Summer School in Dublin, Dr. Rossow taught at four summer sessions, has served as the studio conductor for four An煤na recordings, and has premiered several of Mr. McGlynn鈥檚 works. An active adjudicator and clinician for both voice and choral activities, Dr. Rossow has presented on a variety of topics relating to Irish choral music, education, and choral literature. Most recently, her research has been chosen for presentation at the National Association for Music Education鈥檚, College Music Society, and National Collegiate Choral Organization鈥檚 national conferences.
