Community, State College, and non-degree seeking Students
The 大象传媒 Marching Owls welcomes both non-degree seeking students and those attending other Florida public colleges including听Palm Beach State, Broward College, or Miami-Dade College. If you have any questions about the process, please contact the 大象传媒 Band Office 大象传媒Bands@fau.edu听
New State College Students
Please go to , click on "Take a Course as a Transient Student", and complete the application.听 There are no application fees, and all you will need is your State College ID# to apply to take MUN 1110 (0 credits), University Marching Band, at 大象传媒.听 It is important that you contact your advisor so they are aware of your request and can approve it.听
If you go through this process and are denied, or if you were denied admission to 大象传媒 within the previous three semesters you cannot register through Florida Shines and have to register as a "non-degree seeking student".听
Returning State College Students
The transient student application must be completed every semester in which you take classes at 大象传媒.听 Be sure to talk with your State College advisor, especially if you have a new advisor this year.听
Non-Degree Seeking Students
If you are not currently enrolled at another institution, were denied by Florida Shines, or were denied admission to 大象传媒 within the previous three semesters, you can submit a Non-Degree Enrollment Application to participate in the marching band.
