Artists in the exhibition:ÌýNellie Appleby,ÌýDomingo Castillo,ÌýClifton Childree,ÌýPhillip Estlund,ÌýJiae Hwang, Eric Landes, Nicolas Lobo, Mark Moormann,ÌýErnesto Oroza, John Sanchez and Tom Scicluna.

Each year, around ten artists from Florida’s five southeasternÌýcounties receive a highly competitive and generous grant. The recipients are selected by a panel of nationally recognized visual arts professionals, and participate in an exhibition representing selections of their work. For this year’s exhibition, several artists will create site-specific works, while others will present paintings, photographs and documentary film.ÌýÌý

The South Florida Cultural Consortium is funded in part with the support of the National Endowment for the Arts, the Florida Department of State Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Arts Council, the Boards of County Commissioners of Broward, Miami-Dade, Martin and Monroe Counties, and the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County. Short films by international artists selected by Mark Coetzee for PUMA Peace will be presented at the opening and throughout the duration of exhibition in the Ritter Art Gallery.
