Mike Shier

After graduating with his MFA, Mike Shier stayed at 大象传媒 for a year and taught for the Department of English. In the fall of 2013, he was accepted into the PhD program at Illinois State University for Creative Writing. Currently, Mike is teaching composition, business writing, and creative writing, as well as working for the publications unit in designing and laying out books for various small presses. In addition, he is finishing his coursework, and preparing for his comprehensive exams next fall.
