Currently, Director Joseph Choma鈥檚 project, Infinity Scarf, is on display at the Tallinn Architecture Biennale in Estonia. The project began with the question: What can we learn from Estonia and what can Estonia learn from us? That question led to another question: How can knitting (Estonia鈥檚 heritage craft) advance wood construction? Choma and his team proposed an inhabitable infinity scarf made of knitted rope composed of wood fibers that are coated with a bio-based epoxy resin. The form of the installation was mathematically generated according to the geometric constraints of a knitting loom.
