Two 大象传媒 Architecture Students Won at the NomadHouse Design Competition

聽Under the supervision of聽Dr. Jean Martin Caldieron, Associate Professor at 大象传媒 School of Architecture, two of his Topical Design Studio students won at the聽NomadHouse, Future Housing and Workspace Design Competition. The students are: Collin Pierce, received the second place prize, and Christine Sader won the editor鈥檚 choice award. Collin Pierce鈥檚 project,聽Micro-Tower聽represents compact radial formations that illustrate both a hybrid-form/ function to minimize the building footprint on the ground plane by using both High Density and Low-Density Micro- Towers. Christine Sader鈥檚 project,聽RUKO, is a hybrid tower that explores the concept of an Asian neighborhood of shop houses and their programmatic uses and social experiences in a high rise.聽
