"Hello everyone, my name is Rachel Zuckerman and I was a PAC for four years. I started my freshman year, not realizing the journey that I was about to undertake. However, the growth and amount that I learned through this experience was instrumental in me becoming the person I am today. I've learned so much from the students as well as my fellow PACS and advisor within the ACCESS office. The main thing that I will be taking away from this experience is the simple principle that was taught to me as a PAC and in turn I taught to my students "If your first plan does not work. It's OK, just adapt it a little". This life lesson with something that I saw throughout my four years and something I will carry into the next chapter and beyond."

"As a current Peer Academic Coach, being a [PAC] has truly transformed my experience in school, and I want to share how meaningful this role has been for me. My introduction to coaching began when I sought guidance for my own academic challenges. Through dedicated support, I learned invaluable time management skills and effective study strategies that significantly transformed my approach to learning.

This experience not only helped me excel in my studies but also inspired me to give back to the community that had supported me. Becoming a Peer Academic Coach has allowed me to share the tools and techniques that proved to be beneficial to me. I remember feeling overwhelmed and unsure, and now I can provide support and encouragement to others who are going through similar struggles. I am now privileged to guide my peers in navigating their academic challenges, promoting growth and resilience.

The relationships I鈥檝e built with fellow students have been greatly rewarding. I take immense pride in witnessing their progress and celebrating their achievements. It is fulfilling to know that I can contribute to their success in a meaningful way, helping them develop the skills necessary for academic excellence and lifelong learning." - 2024 PAC Testimonial
